Next Sunday (October 28), Black Sheep will play their third competition game of the season 2018-2019.
This game is played in Nijmegen (Triavium) against the Gladiators.
The game will start at 19.30 PM.
The first ice hockey club in Nijmegen was founded in the 1970s on the old Heyendaal ice rink in Nijmegen. Between 1970 and 1996 there were many associations active on ice rink Heyendaal. Associations such as Pubstars, Heyendaal, Fanatics, Mixstars and a student corps. In 1996 they moved to the Triavium. At that moment the Fanatics decided to stop as an active club. Heyendaal decided to quit in 2010. From both associations some ice hockey players switched to the Pubstars.
In 2010 it was decided by new entrants and a new board to leave the name Pubstars. In a democratic procedure the name Gladiators came into existence and since 2010 this name has been used.
Just like last season, the third division is divided into two groups again. Black Sheep participates in group A. Again a strong group of teams. The same as last season is again played for promotion and degradation.
