Tampa Bay Lightning win the Stanley Cup

sep 29, 2020 | IJshockey Buitenland, Laatste nieuws

Last night, the Tampa Bay Lightning managed to win the Stanley Cup for the second time in their history.
For that, they had to push the Dallas Stars aside 4-2.
Tampa has won the Stanley Cup once before in 2004. This season it was a very special win given the temporary stop by Covid-19 and the final play without an audience and in a so-called bubble.
A Stanley Cup win that goes into the history books.

Victor Hedman of Tamba Bay Lightning was named ‘MVP’ of the playoffs. The 29-year-old defender scored ten goals in the playoffs, the most for a defender since 1994.
